Aim of the game : First player/team to get 12 points. 1 point for each puck from the same team closest to the master.

Players : 2 to 6, per team.

Equipment : 1 wooden board, 12 light and dark grey pucks, 1 master.

Dimensions : 70 x 70 x 3 cm, 27.5 x 27.5 x 1.1 inches.

Materials : Made from poplar, a softer hardwood that absorbs pucks and cast iron pucks better.

Options : A cherry wood top.

Description : New old game, Breton palet is a traditional French game that dates back several centuries. It is also known as "palets sur planche" or "palets sur planche bretonne". This game of skill is very popular in Brittany because it can be played on various types of terrain, including grass, asphalt, sand, gravel and many others, it doesn't matter, bring it with you, everywhere!

Players throw pucks, metal discs, toward a target placed a certain distance away. The objective is to score points by placing the pucks as close as possible to the master, like the jack in pétanque.

The Breton palets game is appreciated for its friendly, competitive and accessible nature to spend time outdoors. It can be played with family or friends, whether during informal gatherings, picnics, outdoor parties, or even more serious tournaments. It tests your skills in terms of precision and dexterity. Be careful not to underestimate your opponents, because mastering this game can be more difficult than it seems!
